IAKO congratulate the Organising Secretary Mr. Kamaleshwar Baruah for hosting our recently held National Championships for 19th Sub Junior/ 19th Junior/ 20th Senior men and women in a grand way.
Mr Kamaleshwar Baruah took a challenge to organise this historic event in Guwahati , just 600km away from his home town. In spite of many hurdles all the time he was cool , energetic and promising to meet his life time challenge in promoting and controlling Kickboxing sport in Assam.

The 33rd National Game venue i.e. Sarusajai Indoor Stadium was the Championship venue. This was an wonderful Indoor Stadium and our organising Committee decorated it in a beauty manner with one Boxing Ring and three tatamis. The light and sound was superb and in the evening it was giving a feeling like an International event with the flow of banners all the way from NH to inside the stadium put by the sponsors DALMIA and HALC. Apart from this every evening there was cultural programmes.
All the Officials were put in a Three Star Hotel Parsuram near by the stadium which was not only a hotel but very comfortable with the extreme care taken by the staffs including its owner, we felt like in home.
